Take Action to Improve Lives There is a place for everyone in NAAF’s Grassroots Advocacy! Change starts when people speak up by writing letters, making phone calls, meeting with legislators and their staff and other decision makers in government, telling their stories, and inspiring others to do the same. The more of us that act, the louder our voices become. Become an Advocate Become an Advocacy Leader NAAF Advocacy empowers volunteer State Leaders to engage with other advocates in their state. Together local advocates create change by building relationships with their elected officials, raising awareness about alopecia areata, and growing their communities. NAAF provides every resource State Leaders need, including volunteer mentors through our Advocacy Community Leadership Team Members, National Volunteer Leader, and National Advocacy Ambassador.
