After an alopecia areata diagnosis, it is important to realize that you are not alone. NAAF has support groups all over the world. Though they have different sizes, average age and group specific objectives, they share a common mission; to provide individuals with alopecia areata, their families and their friends a safe, comfortable and trusting environment in which to share their personal experiences with this challenging disease. Find a Support Group near you.

You may also visit our calendar of events to see if there are any support group meetings in your area. Many groups hold meetings that might not be listed on our calendar, so it is best to check with the support group leaders for meeting schedules.

There are many cities and towns across the country and around the world without support groups. Learn more about what it means to be a support group leader.
