TeamUp for Alopecia Areata Awareness The National Alopecia Areata Foundation partners with Major and Minor League Baseball organizations to promote alopecia areata awareness. Volunteer team captains coordinate awareness days at selected games. Events include honorary first pitch, team awareness booth, pre-game ceremony, scoreboard messages, PA announcements, honorary batboy/batgirl and more! And your Team Up event doesn’t just have to be a baseball game. Basketball, football, soccer, and hockey games also make for great events where you and other NAAF families and friends in your community can get together to have fun and spread awareness.
