Wig Resources

While NAAF does not provide financial support to purchase wigs, we have identified the organizations below that have expertise in the area of providing wigs. These organizations provide free wigs to children and young adults with medically related hair loss such as alopecia areata.

We have done our best to ensure that the resources available on this website are accurate. NAAF provides this information as a reference. It is your responsibility to conduct your own research and make your own determination about any organization, products or services listed on this page.

C & S Fashions Buy 1 / Gift 1
When you purchase a wig online at shop.cnsfashions.com, C&S Fashions will generously gift another wig to a member of the alopecia areata community. It’s a “Buy 1 / Gift 1” initiative that aims to make wigs more accessible to those who need them most.

  • Purchase a Wig: Treat yourself to a high-quality wig from C&S Fashions. Visit shop.cnsfashions.com and enter the passcode NAAF. (Passcode is case sensitive.)

Donate Your Hair
NAAF is not able to accept donations of hair or wigs. If you wish to donate a gently used wig, please contact a NAAF support group in your area. Click here to find the closest group to you. You may also contact your local clinic or hospital.

Help Make Wigs More Affordable with New Legislation
NAAF’s advocacy efforts prioritize passage of legislation that will require Medicare and insurance companies to provide coverage for wigs, which has the potential to impact tens of thousands of people in our community. You can help make cranial prosthetics, or wigs, more affordable by asking your congressional representative and senators to co-sponsor new legislation which redesignates wigs as durable medical equipment eligible for Medicare coverage.
