Walk For Alopecia™

New Year, New Leader Volunteer Opportunity

Interested in leading a Volunteer-Led Community Walk For Alopecia™ Site?

Last year, more than 4,500 people walked at 25 community sites nationwide led by amazing volunteer leaders who stepped up to plan an official local community Walk that raised funds and shined a bright light on alopecia areata while engaging, connecting, and supporting their local alopecia areata communities.

“The Walk For Alopecia showed me the power of connection and shared understanding. As a Walk Site Leader, I’m excited to bring that same spirit to Western New York by building a new, supportive community where people can connect, feel empowered, and know they’re not alone.”
– Anja, 2025 & 2026 Walk Site Leader, Buffalo, NY

3rd Annual Walk For Alopecia Was A Success

Thank you to our walkers, donors, Site Leaders, and sponsors.

On September 27, 2025, the NAAF community united for the 3rd Annual Walk For Alopecia™ Presented by Pfizer, coming together at 25 official Walk sites nationwide and in more than 85 neighborhoods as Walk Where You Are teams to shine a bright light on alopecia areata and empower each other. NAAF is proud to announce that the Walk For Alopecia exceeded its $1.2M fundraising goal. The dollars raised through the Walk For Alopecia help NAAF provide more research, education, advocacy, and support for those living with alopecia areata. Read the full recap here.
