Become an Advocacy Leader

Monica Kim

My daughter means the world to me. She has alopecia areata. Therefore, advocating on behalf of those with alopecia areata is something I find very special and very important. My own advocacy journey has taken me from calling my congressperson’s local office to speaking at meetings on Capitol Hill to becoming NAAF’s very first National Volunteer Leader. I expect advocating for those with this disease is important to you as well.

Just as important are those who help lead our efforts. We need committed advocacy volunteers to serve as State Leaders and members of our Advocacy Community Leadership Team (ACLT). I invite you to join me as we guide NAAF’s advocacy mission and bring more advocates into our community so that we may enact legislation that benefits all with alopecia areata. Please contact NAAF Communications Director Gary Sherwood at gary@naaf.org to learn more.
