Abby Martinez

Abby joined NAAF in June 2022 as NAAF’s inaugural Medical Student Fellow. Abby is currently completing a Complex Medical Dermatology Research fellowship at the University of Washington—Seattle and is in between her second and third year of medical school at Albany Medical College. Before that, Abby was a research coordinator at Total Research Group and an upper division cell biology laboratory professor at Florida International University. Abby holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from Florida International University and a Master’s in Medical Bioethics from the Alden March Bioethics Institute. She was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Abby is currently residing in Seattle, WA and going to medical school in Albany, New York.
