Develop protocol and device module for alopecia areata clinical study.

Significance

If successful this could be the first FDA-approved treatment for alopecia areata.

Purpose

To evaluate risk and cost of study designed to assess the efficacy and safety of the 308-nm Excimer laser in the treatment of scalp alopecia areata. Currently initiating design modifications for smaller initial proof of concept study.
