Message board

NAAF sponsors secure private Message Boards where you can read and answer messages or questions written by other people like you. If you want, you can post your own story or question as a message for other people to answer.

Registration
Are you already a registered for the message board?  Sign in here.  If not, Register here. If under age 18 please have a parent fill out and send in the permission form.

Complete all required fields completely or you may not be approved. Once approved, you will receive an email stating so, with your user id and password and the URL for the message board.  NOTE: Your message board user id is NOT the same as your NAAF website registered user id. Please note that the general public cannot access these message boards.

NAAF Privacy Policy
The National Alopecia Areata Foundation vigorously guards the privacy of the information that it receives from individuals. The foundation privacy procedures include the following: NAAF does not sell, rent or divulge personally identifiable information to anyone unless required by law. Donors are listed in our annual report unless requested otherwise.
 
The National Alopecia Areata Foundation vigorously guards the privacy of the information it receives from individuals during the registration process. However, all personal, emotional, and medical information that you voluntarily reveal in the message board is not protected by the NAAF privacy policy.

Registration Data
During registration for use of the bulletin board system (BBS), NAAF collects personal information including your name, address, email address, zip code and phone number. After providing NAAF with this information, you are no longer anonymous.

How does NAAF use personal information?
NAAF uses your personal information to provide you with information that you request, including brochures and newsletters, and to inform you of support group and awareness activities in your area. NAAF does not sell, rent, or divulge personally identifiable information to anyone unless required by law.
