For the past 21 years, the National Alopecia Areata Foundation has assisted researchers committed to the areas of genetics, immunology, clinical research and basic hair biology. Since 1987, NAAF has funded over 150 research grants totaling more that $4 million dollars. NAAF will continue to promote strong research though the NAAF Research Grant program.
