The National Alopecia Areata Foundation advocates on behalf of all alopecia areata patients. Currently, our largest advocacy campaign involves the battle to get insurance coverage for individuals with alopecia areata who choose to wear a hair prosthesis. Though we are involved in a federal campaign, many volunteers in states around the country have held successful advocacy campaigns as well.
