Kayla Martell One of Top Ten Finalists in 2011 Miss America Pageant
Kayla Martell was one of the top 10 finalists in the Miss America contest held in Las Vegas, Nevada on January 15, 2011. Martell became only the third Miss Delaware to make it into the top 10 during the first cut.
Miss Delaware, Kayla Martell, selected NAAF as her cause in an effort to help the organization promote alopecia areata awareness. Kayla Martell, who is 21, has had alopecia areata since she was ten years old.
NAAF congratulates Kayla on her top ten placement and is very grateful for Kayla’s decision to use her time in the spotlight to educate the general public about the disease, and to prove that, with or without hair, we can all reach our dreams.
