Kayla Martell is Miss Delaware - NAAF to be Her Platform in 2011 Miss America Pageant
The National Alopecia Areata Foundation is pleased to announce that the organization will be used as a platform in the January 2011 Miss America Pageant. The recently crowned Miss Delaware, Kayla Martell, has selected NAAF as her cause in an effort to help the organization promote alopecia areata awareness. Kayla Martell, who is 21, has had alopecia areata since she was ten years old.
NAAF is very grateful for Kayla’s decision to use her time in the spotlight to educate the general public about the disease, and to prove that, with or without hair, we can all reach our dreams.
