NAAF Conference Sponsorship Opportunities are Now Available

The time has come once again to prepare for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation International Conference! This year’s Conference is near you in Indianapolis, Indiana, June 24^th to June 27^th.  We hope we will hear from you as registration has already begun.

Even if you are not attending this year’s Conference, please do not stop reading!

WE NEED YOUR HELP! An instrumental part of the success of the Conference has been Unrestricted Educational Grants (also known as “sponsorships”) from businesses throughout the country. We count on the financial support of outside organizations to keep this program alive, and we need YOUR HELP in locating these organizations. NAAF produces an extraordinary conference. We try to keep the fees affordable for our patients and families, which unfortunately makes it impossible to cover actual costs.

As you well know, the NAAF conference is a life changing event for individuals of all ages in the alopecia areata community. The conference increases self-esteem, self-image and allows people to discover that they are not alone. It is an annual opportunity for people to interact with others that share the same challenges. They also learn the most current medical, research, advocacy, support, awareness and cosmetic information.

Please take a moment to think of any local business owners or corporate marketing managers whom you know that may consider being sponsors of this event. Perhaps even you have a business that needs exposure, or you just wish to personally contribute.

The following 3 links are available here for you to print and use in your securing sponsors:

1. An information sheet that can be given to the business owner/manager describing the benefits that their organization will realize by supporting the conference.
2. A reply form to be completed by participating organizations. NAAF must receive responses/commitments from sponsors by Friday, June 4^th in order to ensure that their business is adequately recognized at the event beginning on June 24^th.
3. A sample letter to assist you in drafting your appeal to whichever business you have in mind.

This could be your time to support NAAF in a substantial way, even if your own personal financial constraints have not allowed you to do so in the past.
