Ladies and Gentlemen,
every month the Toronto Raptors Community Relations
department selects a player for his exemplary work in the community.
During October and November Charlie Villanueva participated in several
fan meet
and greets, a visit to a local school and acted as a celebrity waiter
at the Raptors Foundation Tip Off Dinner. Charlie also acts as a role
model for those affected by Alopecia Areata, a condition that he has
been living with since childhood. In conjunction with the National Alopecia
Areata Foundation, Charlie has been involved in four away game meet
and
greets with children and families affected by Alopecia Areata. John
Lashway, Vice-President of Community Development, is pleased to present
Charlie
Villanueva with the November Community MVP Award. Charlie, the Toronto
Raptors applaud your efforts. Thank you. |
